Spiritual Gifts - Part 3 | How Do We Get Spiritual Gifts?

God gives the giftings, but they are equipped and turned loose in our lives through Godly mentors that God places in our life. We need to be intentional to seek out mentors that can help us discover and grow the giftings in our lives.

Spiritual Gifts - Part 2 | Why Do We Need Spiritual Gifts?

Each and every gift that God has given to us is for the purpose of edifying the church and bringing glory to God. We see in Ephesians 4:11-16 that Christ gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up (to be edified) until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

If we are attempting to edify the church, we are attempting to instruct or improve the church.
