Today we continue our series, “Follow Me - 7 Traits of A Spirit-Filled Disciple.” In our last post, we discussed worshipping in Freedom and specifically mentioned needing to worship God in Spirit and Truth. We need to worship God with our feelings/ emotions AND facts.

We talked about truth or God’s Word in the first week of this series. Today, I want to talk more about worshipping God in Spirit. Specifically the Holy Spirit. Why? Because we are an Assemblies of God church that wants to experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit right here in Saint Clair Shores!

Spiritual Gifts - Part 2 | Why Do We Need Spiritual Gifts?

Each and every gift that God has given to us is for the purpose of edifying the church and bringing glory to God. We see in Ephesians 4:11-16 that Christ gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up (to be edified) until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

If we are attempting to edify the church, we are attempting to instruct or improve the church.
