David – Attributes Of A King | Honor

Today we are going to address the idea of honoring leadership.  We need to honor leadership when we want to and when we need to honor leadership that doesn’t deserve the honor. As we go through this post today, I hope you are challenged to grow in your level of honoring authority.

The Story Of Esther | Death To Self

This week as we celebrate Easter, we also conclude our series on The Story of Esther.  As we finish the book of Esther, we will look at a series of events that show God is with His people, even when His presence is not actively recognized or seen.

The Story of Esther | For Such A Time As This

One of the things I have enjoyed about preaching this book thus far is that it's much more like storytelling than just straight preaching.  Almost as if I get to leave you on a cliffhanger each week so you’ll come back for more. And today will be no exception.

At this point in the story we have met the King, Mordecai, Esther, and now Haman…

The Story of Esther - A New Queen

Today we will begin a new series on The Story of Esther.  We will take a six-week journey through the book, concluding on Easter Sunday.

As we get started, let’s understand the context of the book of Esther. It was written most likely by a Jew very familiar with the royal Persian court, but the author is unknown.  The detailed descriptions of court life and traditions and the events in the book point to an eyewitness author.

Roar Of Justice - The Book of Amos | Warning Signs

Today we continue our Roar of Justice series, as we take a three-week dive into the book of Amos.

As you remember from last week, God is speaking judgment on the countries around Israel, and the last mentioned is Israel.  Almost as a target that centers on Israel. Today we are going to focus on Israel specifically and its leaders.

Roar Of Justice - The Book of Amos | The Lord Roars From Zion

Today we begin a brand new series called Roar of Justice, and we will take three weeks to dive into the book of Amos. Coming off of the book of Galatians, where we talked about how we are redeemed by faith and not works, you see that same imagery here.  God isn’t interested in Israel’s “Obedience.” Instead, he is interested in Justice and Righteousness.

Galatians – Christ Has Set Us Free!

Today we conclude our study of the book of Galatians, discussing whether our salvation is earned by faith or by works. Today we will discuss living in Freedom, staying in step with the Spirit, and helping one another. As we start, take a moment to read Galatians 5:1-15

Galatians – By Faith Or By Works?

In today’s post, we continue our study of the book of Galatians, discussing whether our salvation is earned by faith or by works. I feel like this is one of those topics you cannot discuss enough.  Last week we hit on the idea that the church in Galatia and the surrounding regions were being influenced by Jewish believers that wanted them to take on the burden of the Old Covenant.

What We Believe - New Heavens and New Earth

We have been navigating our way through what we believe as a church, and today we reach the end of those essential beliefs.  And all of that leads us to today's message, The New Heavens and New Earth.

What We Believe - God's Plan For the Future

In this series, we have discussed what we believe as a church. We have studied and broken down a lot of beliefs and ideas that have existed since the beginning of the world. We have looked at the mistakes mankind has made and how God made a way for us to return to Him. We have discussed what we are supposed to be doing right here and now as the church.

Today and next week, we will be looking to see what God has up his sleeve for the future.  What He has promised us is still to come.
